Sukeban which means "girl boss" is my new favorite spot in San Antonio for sushi. The customer service is top notch and so is the food, atmosphere and location. Southtown has so many awesome spots that Sukeban is perfect for this area. The small intimate setting is great for date night but also with a group of friends. Happy hr is $3 dollar off selected rolls and drinks during the week which is always a plus. They are closed Mondays. Try the Blossom roll which comes with a sauté fish on top. Also try the Wagyu Beef with the hot stone and you can cook it yourself. So fun to try your cooking technique with a friend or significant other. Have variety of cold and warm sake selections like draft saki and they suggest a glass a champagne with every meal. Suggest sitting at the sushi bar and experience the amazing technique that takes years to perfect.
